Building Exposure & Risk for France

Development of an insurance-grade building-level exposure and risk model for France for various building typologies and perils.

On behalf and in collaboration with Swiss Re Solutions we have developed  a detailed Exposure and Risk Scores for France. The products are available via Swiss Re´s Property Insights Platform.

  • Building value: Replacement value, time value, reconstruction value

Risk Scores:

  • Based on Risk Type specific vulnerabilities and state-of the art hazard modelling
  • Building level Risk Scores for four perils: Earthquake, Flood, Wind, Hail
  • Calibrated, AAL-based Risk Scores for Earthquake and Wind
  • Relative Risk Scores for Flood and Hail
  • Flood Risk Scores based on Hazard maps
  • Hail Risk Scores based on expected hail days per year
